What is a Cutfile?
A cutfile is a special type of digital file that tells our cutting machines exactly where to cut around your design. Instead of just printing a flat image, the cutfile creates neat outlines (like the dotted line in the example above), so your design can be cut precisely out of vinyl, heat transfer material, or sticker stock.
Why Do You Need It?
If you’re ordering a custom design, a cutfile is what makes it possible for us to cut your artwork cleanly and professionally:
-
✅ Ensures smooth, sharp edges
-
✅ Keeps the design layers aligned correctly
-
✅ Allows us to produce stickers, decals, and heat transfer prints that look professional and last longer
Without a cutfile, the machine wouldn’t know where to cut.
What If You Don’t Have One?
No worries! If you can’t provide a cutfile for your custom design, we can make one for you. There is a once-off charge of $6.95 for creating your cutfile. After it’s set up, you can reuse it any time you reorder the same design without extra cost.
